Stolen Items from the Warren Miller Premier in Reno

A second thread about stealing in one day. What is going on?
Here's the deal. Any help would be very appreciated:
The Red Dawn set up the Line booth for the Warren Miller premier last saturday. After the halftime break, someone stole:
Teddy Bear Crisis DVD
Skate More DVS DVD
Wild Style DVD
Final Scratch Program, (inside of one of the DVD cases)
I'm not sure if I'd even bother writing about the DVD's, but I purchased final scratch program 3 days before the show, ($600) and hadn't officially registered it. You can't run the program w/o the hardware, and I can't get a replacement because I hadn't registered it. Now someone that wanted to steal my videos has my program that they can never use, and I'm out $600. I'm sure whoever stole it was cool to me when they chilled out in my booth, I most likely offered them a drink, maybe some posters.
I'm hoping that someone knows who took my videos, or maybe the person that stole them is a member on newchoolers and I'll be able to make contact and get my stuff back.
Send me an email if you have any info to help me out.
Thanks and take care,
Matt
The Red Dawn
ps - Last year I had 4 banners stolen from me at the PBP premier. 3 were returned through the help of Newschoolers members. When I drove the the thieves house's, they all said, "I thought they were free". A real lame justification for stealing. The 4th banner was never returned, and resulted in my banishment from Alpine Meadows. This isn't story looking for pity, but I'm hoping anyone that's down with stealing pety/low priced stuff reconsiders before they do it again.

That's really stupid...you go through all of that work to put on a premiere, and people take it for granted and steal stuff from it...that is low.

about not beig aloud back at Alpine:
They wanted $400 for the banner that I didn't have. They might have exagerated the price a bit, but I did sign a contract saying I was taking the banner and that it would be returned. End result: I didn't pay the $400, and was told that If i ever step foot onto Alpine Meadows property, I would be arrested.
Also, I think you're missing the point of my thread.

Matt throws down the sickest premier parties and this is how kids repay him? Someone please anonymously send back his Scratch disc and we won't kill you. The UNGnar crew will be on the lookout for the culprit... and one of them skis Ninthwards so you better be afraid!

I don't know if it's still the same guy running the marketing dept at Alpine, but I got my pass permanently pulled for standing around watching someone scope a line that wouldn't be allowed without permission. We were just checking it out to see if it would be doable, then if it was we'd have to get all the clearances and set up the shoot. Long story but Alpine's PR guy freaked and overreacted. He seems to do that a lot.

lower the price then people wont have to steal... everyone is so greedy in the first place, so if you look at it the main people are stealing from us.
they jack a price up 400%, how is that not stealing the consumers money?
companies could easily get by with a smaller profit but wont so they are the greedy mother fuckers that start all this shit.

This sucks,
You can't believe what a downer it is when you work hard to set up a cool event like Matt did and all you get in return is theft.
I think the worst part about it is Matt spent $600 of his own dollars to buy software to make even better events for everyone.
Now someone stole a disc they can't even use, and made everyone elses experiences worse in return. If anyone knows anything about it, let either Matt (the_red_dawn) or myself know.

i can relate to a point, I sponsored an event this summer and brought shirts to GIVE AWAY, and had them all stolen before I could even do so.
All times are Eastern (-4)
