We now expect delivery of the Prophets and Elizabeth to be approx. Dec 15th. I realize this is not what you wanted to hear but I'd rather you know the facts straight from Line. With many of you waiting since fall, we really appreciate your patience and can only reinforce that these skis are well worth the extra wait. Most of our other models are now in stores but these were being made at the end of production = last to be delivered. If you have a pre-order with a shop I strongly suggest you keep it since there is more demand for these skis then actual skis produced, they'll be very limited. Basically they're not your average ski and well worth the extra few weeks wait. Remember, you'll still have them before the season really gets good.

wow that's a bummer I hope nobody cancels especially in CA cuz theres no Tahoe snow yet. Just wait you'll be glad you did. It sounds cheasy what jason said about them not being ordinary skis, but there really isn't a better way to put it. We ordered Prophets really heavy for my store because they are simply the best big mountain skis ever, the 130's and the 100's. I'll wait for mine and you guys should do the same.

FUCKK THIS SHIT. i broke my pollards last year. sent them in for warranty... i have been pushed around for months with skirack and line saying they will be in next week...they will be in next week.....they will be in next week. im sick of it. i was suposed to get replacement skis last july, now its november and i dont have skis. i thought line was the bomb, now this just sucks. who cares if dec 15 isnt when the season heats up.... id like to ski before then!!!!!!!!

Jason -- can I ask why on earth you waited to have skis made this late in the year? It seems that at my shop, which carries LINE's, you are the only company to ship late. Last week we finally got the mo ships and the shadow, but wtf man -- it seems like someone dropped the ball. I have been pushing the shit out of the Invader to everyone left, right and sideways, but we still don't even have them to show.
I guess my point is, that if you knew that the skis would ship this late, we should have gotten samples to show people and to place preorders with, b/c I have sold all my public enemies and fujatives to people that would have been more interested in the Invader for sure.

Propbably not, since they where not avaible late last season and only a few reps had them at the on hill demos (if any)...

haha yeah dude, taylor pretty much had 10 pairs of '06 skis in his garage last year that he rode all the time, so when he says something about a ski being sick, he's not just jumping on the bandwagon. he's ridden the ski a lot and can give a fair review of it.

I saw Prophet 130's at two stores in Calgary last winter and Elizabeths at Fresh, only one pair though and someone bought them.

We didn't intentionally ship this late. We expected to have all product in ships over a month ago but we literally moved our factory across the ocean to Asia this spring and it ended up taking many more months then previously epected to actually get our machinary back up and running at full capacity. We needed to do this because the Candadian dollar chnaged over 30% in the past year and a half resulting in us making the skis for close to the same price we were selling them which would have caused us to go out of business. Moving to China was a huge project and obviously caused major delays in shipping product but it was a necessary step to solidfy our manfucturing for the future. You already can see by the price of the Invader at $299 that we have passed lots of cost savings on to you too. Basically setting up ski manufacturing in China, enabled us to continue to lead the way in quality and performance (still using our same machinary & materials and engineering) and now we will also be extremely competitive in price. This year of transition did not come without its challenges and I want to personally apologize for the late delivery of skis and let you all know that we share your frustration. Thanks for working with us to get through this transitional year and for riding Line.

I'd rather have to wait for skis then have the company go out of business. In the long run, outsourcing is a solid business decision for LINE. I'm excited to get my skis, and I personally don't mind the wait since Tahoe has no snow.

HAHAH I was going to own you on this one personally but my freinds beat me to it. Yeah bro only Pollard has more pow days on this years Prophets than me. Not to mention the fact that they sold 100 pairs of 130's last year to west coast (mainly cali) accounts to premier them. So mine were made in Canada haha.
On a lighter note the good news for all of us in this late shipping situation is that everyone is going to cancel their big Line orders now because by the time they get them everything will be on sale and their margin will get crushed. THis means that Line will have inventory on skis until later in the year than they ever have, this means CLOSEOUTS!!! Expect Prophets super cheap in spring!!

Jason I'd really like my prophets, i have already had 2 plus foot powder days, and i understand there is nothing you can do, but how is the invader here, and the prophets still way backed up? Also i am curious if you are doing any new production of the binding? Selling it to anyone, any new improvements?
