Skiing with other people

Alright a friend and I were haveing a debate about wheather or not skiing with other people will make you ski better. I said that other people can puch you more then you can puch youself, he said thats only true for some people but other puch themselfs. I would agree that some people can puch themselves but i think that they progress more with others puching them. What are your oppinuns, do you progress more with others or by yourself

I do better with other people as long as they're as good or better than me. I progress more by myself than I do skiing with people who aren't very good.

other people give you guts to try stuff like:"wow, i want to look cool infront this person" it helps to ski with some one.

Thats really true, when I used to skateboard if I just skated with my good friends who were about the same level as me or a little less, then I would kind of just skate and do small safe tricks, but when I would skate with a buddy of mine who was really good I tried a lot more things and progressed in say the hour skating with him over a week of skating with the other kids. Even if the other poeple don't push you to progress, just being around good skiers or skaters will help you out.

first of all its....PUSH and second of all...it can go either way...for me...i feel more into myself and more frre when i am skiing with myself...i am in like a trance because i usually have the music going with the headphones and i totally blank everything out...last year i had alot of personall shit going on so i skied the majority of the seaosn alone...but honestly...unless i am filming...thats the way i like it

bahahah 'puch'. thats almost as bad as 'spancered'

i think it definatly hekps when you ski with people that are a higher level than you. and its sweet when u get a good group of ppl together and have a wicked sesh where every gets a ton out of it

I love skiing with other people you get every body pushing each other to do better. this one time at my resort we had this like day long session and everybody was just pushing each other to do better.

I like skiing with one or two other people, but if nobody's up I'll ski alone. I probably skied 25-30 days alone last year, and I got quite a bit better overall.

I suck at skiing in the park because I ski with people that suck even more in the park. Yes you get better by skiing with better people.

i ski best when i'm with only one friend and when he is about as good as me, cause then we are always having good time seeing who to do what first and stuff. when i'm alone i'm always chillin. i usually just chill around doing zero's

Skiing alone can be okay sometimes, you can do what ever you want to do, and you dont have to wait for other..but i prefer skiing with friends anyway

if i was at a park all by myself, i bet id progress better than i do now. i tend to get intimidated by other ppl on the hill i dont know that are good and i dont try much stuff. or if i was at a park with just me and my friends, then id also probably do better.
one reason i want to get to know people on my hill. when i know someone i tend to be less intimidated by them.
