17 years old.
I ski 60/40 park all mtn.
Park skiing near my home in Philly but when I go to Vermont mostly all mtn.
I want to be able to carve, Im not planning on mounting mine center. a little back. I was thinking 169 cause i want to be able to spin in the park and have movement and lighter.. is the advantage of the 177 in relation to me?

177's for shur, i checked them out and i thought the 169's were like 165's, they seem to fit small.

Go with the 177's you'll like the extra length.

I was about the same size as you when I was 17 and got the 175 Trouble Makers. They were a step up from 165, but I got used to them in about a week. I'm so glad I went with the longer size. Granted the Karmas are a little beefier than the TMs, but I would still go with the 177s. In fact, 177 Karmas are what I'm looking for this year. So if you find a good deal, let me know.

O.k. I guess I'll go with the 177s. Still not totally convinced why I will like it better, but I have a sense of trust in NS. Wouldnt the extra weight slow me down in the park?

I would say so. Especially if you're growning. I'm 5'10" 150 and I'm riding 180cm Liberty's this year.
