Warren Miller Impact, suprsingly good...

I just finished watching the DVD of Impact and it actually was pretty cool for a number of reasons. Sure, it is a pretty watered down family oriented movie, but its pretty cool how it puts newschool skiing in the context of skiing as a whole...its just a different kind of skiing. The movie is also pretty cool cuz it doesn't take itself too seriously like a lot "core" movies do. Not to mention it was 1:40 minutes long and only cost 17 bucks where as War was 27 and was like 45 minutes. All in all, Impact probably had as much newschool skiing as War, plus it had some awesome big mountain skiing as well. Mark Abma had a pretty cool segment. And in the extras, they had a an allegator going down a hill strapped to a snow skate...pretty cool.
