ok, so im doing a math project where i have to get the formulas for the area of polygons, and we also need a picture of the polygon to go with the formula. so i go to yahoo image search, and type in "circle" and the first result i get is not exactly what i was looking for. might i add that safe search or w/e was on when i did this. do it for yourself and see if u get the same thing i did.
the equation for the area of a circle is (pi)r^2. everything else can be divided into trianles and recatngles. uf the shape has straight lines and curves, you can find the curves with radians. now this thread can die.
