check out some of the mountaineering/tele sites. They usualy have a big range of stuff and closeout deals etc.
I got my probe from bentgatemountaineering.com . It wasnt super cheap but it was the black Diamond Lite. Lightest probe out there.
Made in Tasmania.
Suitable for ages 5+.
Set includes lots of guns and ski equipment.
Try www.mec.com they have a used gear swap on there, you might find something.

Try looking on Mountain Equipment or REI websites, they're fairly cheap on there. Or someone that retails Black Diamond or Ortovox on the internet. I got mine for about US$30.

How stupid are you? Just coz they LOOK the same doesn't mean they ARE the same, dumbass.
A tentpole doesn't have a full length steel cable through the middle of it, it uses nylon or fabric. A tent pole is usually bent unless you have a shitty ass crap tent and a tent pole is nowhere near as strong. A tent pole doesn't have a spike on the end for digging into the snow. And a tent pole doesn't have a tensioning rotational device on the end to tighten the cable.
THEY ARE NOT THE SAME!
