Replying to Modifying GT Snow Racers

To make these bad boys stnad up to a beating, what do most people do to them. I know you can't weld reinforcements because the metal tubing is too thin.

I know you should bend the skis tails up to make it twin tipped. Also upgrading the handle bars to a bike stem and handle bars is good.

Do people fill in the bottom so snow doesn't come up and bog you down? I was thinking just zap strapping a crazy carpet underneath the seat so you float more. Maybe putting a skate deck on for the front ski so there is more surface area.

Even with all that shit, can you prevent the frame from breaking?
