I'm really considering one of those capix helmets with the visors on them. Anyone here use it and does anyone have pics of them or anyone else wearing one? How do they fit and how are they in crashes?

i have one, and i don't think im gonna wear it skiing. I'll stick to my hi fi.

i also heard if it's really cold out, the plastic can crack. it not really made for winter sports. I have the wakecap version, i use it while im whitewater playboating.

it'll protect you better than nothing, but not as good as a giro or hifi or somthing similar.

I have one, it looks steezy as hell. But its not very practical for skiing. Wind noise in it is a bitch, and its definately not very protective.

there is no way that it protects u better than a helmet designed specifically for skiing/snowboarding.
