Horsehoe is now opening this Wed. Nov. 20th!!!!! There should be a few hills open, but the quad may be out of service until Dec.

Yea after the rain....How are the hills now...hopefully it might have been snow there even though it was rain more south. Any rails/jumps?

yes they are open tomorrow (even with the rain!). As for rails, nothing will be set up until at least two weekends from now. I was going to set them up this weekend, but won't be there to do it. And no tables yet either as there is barely even a base.

you can all come to Mt. Mauii, which opens this weekend! We expect to have a 15cm base. We will be blowing snow if temperatures are cool enough with the ghetto homemade snow blower (which consists of an insulated garden hose and an old sprinkler). Mt. Mauii features 9 ft of vertical and will have one double kink set up this weekend!
Lift tickets are free for the early season! :)

anyone who went today - how was it? did the hot weather kill the hill? and anyone know if they still got enough snow to stay open tomorrow (and threw the weekend?

i'm going tomorrow, but i guess i should call them first to see if they can still stay open. stupid warm weather.

Being Irish, I guess I should resent the Notre Dame nickname 'The Fighting Irish.' After all, how long do you think nicknames like 'The Bargaining Jews' or 'The Murdering Italians' would last? Only the Ironic Irish could be so naively honset. I get the feeling that Notre Dame came real close to naming itself 'The Fuckin Drunken, Thick-Skulled, Brawling, Short-Dicked Irish'

use an insulated shose, and insulate your pipes too if they are in the basement, or they will burst
