Scratch FS or Mad Trix

ive finally narrowed it down to 2 skis that i want: the mad trix and the rossignol scratch fs. the only problem is i cant have both of em! which is better all mtn? thanx

no no ure wrong. Definatley scratchs they kick ass. and i have yet to seen a chick riding with them, i was talkin to some of the girls i know that jump and they were like no i wont get those il look like a dyke.

yeah, Rossiscratch is obviously biased but then again so are me and skierdood.
well you can look at it this way, for the Scratches they had to make a separate big mountain ski but what do you see on the Mad trix? oh right... the words 'big mountain'. but mad trix are beefier and probably be able to take more abuse. but then again the scratch has 5mm more waist

but think.. she asked whats the best all mountain ski out of the two.. switch, what would you say? scratch or mad trix. between those two the madtrix are by far the best all mountain ski. if you wanna wait to buy them go demo them and see which one you like the best. but if you cant. get the mad trix

I personasly liv e my scratches, i demoed the madtrix, and they were col, but the rossis are realy good swing wieght, so big jump turns down a steep are EASY and they turn real good, they are also sick in park, for all mountain get them mounted at the back line and youll be good, the mad trix are a rather heavy ski even w/o the binding but demoing is what you wanna do,

do you think that the kinda sexist graphics on the scratches helped or hurt sales? Like, do you think it sold more to horny little boys than sales lost from girls not wanting to look like dykes?

ok, now i can talk cause i went out and skid my madtrix for the first time, i skied them in about a foot of powder, skied pow, fast steep groomers, and park and there was nothing they couldn't handle, i am very happy with these skis and they worked great with the p12

no, in some other thread some guy listed the weights of the 1080, scratch, and madtrix, and without the system the madtrix was the heaviest of the three. i have a feeling that if i threw them at a window they'd go right through whereas the scratch wouldn't, but maybe that's flex

I can't say I've tried either ski but if you go with the Madtrix I have heard that the Madtrix system (the ones with the integrated bindings) is really heavy. If you go with the Madtrix and there is any truth whatsoever to what I've heard then you should get them without the system.

Scratches are the best Park ski out there... I think the Mad_Trix are probably a better all mountain ski though... They both kick ass. I have Scratches FS and their sIcK.

haven't rode on the scratch's but I know the mad trix are bomb proof and my friend who was sponsored by head and went to rossi prefers the mad trix over the scratch's.

I have skiied both but don't own them. Both are really good skis. If you haven't ridden em yet then do that before, because both are personal preference skis. But for an all mountain twin whihc is good for everything get hte BC. the FS is good for park and trails but only mediocre in pow. The bc is well rounded and good at all three. A very good choice. Make sure you get the dull top sheet though.
