right now i wear a size 10-10.5 shoe and use a 29.5 boot. after reading some threads on this i'm thinking of maybe going with a smaller boot size. i remember reading somewhere in a magazine that Bode Miller wears a size 12 shoe and uses a size 8 ski boot. do smaller boots increase performance? what does it mean by 'punching' out your boots? and by going with a smaller size boot will that make my foot get cold quicker? i ski in ontario so it's usually quite chilly here and i would rather spend 4 hours constantly skiing rather than sitting in the restaurant trying to warm up my feet.
No Props!
