Y is a blunt named a blunt?

ok my friends and i have had this argument many times, i think i blunt is called a blunt cause u hold the tip of ur ski like u would hold a blunt, they think it is becasue it is a "dull" or "blunt" looking motain. can the peopl on ns clarify this for me?

at the same time, lipslide noseslide should be considered noseblunt and tailslide where you go over the rail should be considered blunt. (aka comming from the right side of the rail and sliding a right foot forward tailslide).

That makes more sense from a skating standpoint i find.

ANSWER:
It is called a blunt because you are grabbing the blunt end or your ski. People use the word blunt to describe the very end of something, for example the blunt end of a shovel or blunt end of a baseball bat. Not because it looks like you are holding a joint, no offense but that's retarded
