Looks good, but remakes can be kinda crap.
The 'remake' of Planet of the Apes (directed by tim burton) sucked ass, especially compared to the original. It was more like a revist on the general idea of a planet of apes.. it killed the ending...gah..

technically it's not a monkey. It's a primeape. One big clue to that is how monkeys have tails, and primeapes do not.
