Everything they've made so far follows that mission. Doesn't sound like an operating system thing.

Not an Operating System, at least not for public use, but they will have a browser out. What better way to find all of the worlds information than in the Gbrowser(Beta).

Anyways, they do have their own File System, GFS, already, so it wouldn't be a stretch to believe they have their own Liinix distro as well currently.

That program is called Keyhole. It's been around for several years, but they just recently partnered with google.

The amazing thing about that software is the flyovers you can do. It has the topography of the whole world built into it, so you can fly over mountain ranges and get almost photo-realistic views of the earth.

Heres is a picture of killington after you tilt the view with the software. You really have to try it for yourself, because you can play with it for hours.

it has just been upgraded too, for example it will show you all
the restaurants in N.Y. city, then you ask directions
for a certain one. it will show you every turn in the road from california to N.York city to get to the restaurant you want.
