sooo many good guitarists.. im sure some dude that nobodys even heard of can sit and wail on a guitar like nobody even knows... anyway, id say clapton.. keller williams is really good, too. but overall, clapton or some blues artist.

way too hard to narrow it down to one person, and there definitely are some people out there who absoutely rip but aren't famous, and for steve vai its not about how fast you can move your fingers because that just takes practice

To the people saying Page - he is way good and the ultimate badass, but not the most talented, he is sloppy, when my friend plays zeppelin it sounds better than Page, probably cause Jimmy was always drunk as hell when he played his shows.

the thing about page was that he sounded just as good live and he did in the studio, which is pretty hard to do for a lot of people.

ok for god sakes the best guitarists are not jimmy page or eric clapton, yeah they are good but nowhere near as good as the most talented. and page definitely was not the same on stage as in the studio, his live solos were absolute shit. Stevie Ray Vaughn is fuckin amazing though
