so $200 for the piece of shit... and it doesn't fit any window made after 1970.... sooo a role and a half of duct tape, 2 hours of slaving in the heat, 1 broken drill. and yea its finally working. i think. what the fuck. i hate the summer. especially in toronto. why the fuck do i live here?

i just picked one up for 85 at walmart, and it rocks ass. it fit perfectly, and pumps cold air like its going out of style.

wouldn't work. The fridge pumps cold air out of a insulated box, putting the hot air out side. So it would just be like a pump pushing air around in circles at an incredibly slow rate. Hence why the air conditioner goes in the window, pumping the hot air out the window, and cold air in.

now our room is cold. at least after all that slaving it works..that a bonus. good job dave.

we cant get central air, we live in an apartment building and we are only here until sept. ao the air conditioner was our best bet.

i like having central air. i don't know if i'm going to be able to tough it without it when i move out of my parents house. except when i turn it down really far and end up wearing two pairs of pants and sweaters when it's close to 100 out. in JUNE. jesus this summer is going to kick my ass.

I have central air at my house too. Its pretty sweet except there is no door between the upstairs and the down stiars. So downstaris, where i live, its consistantly 4 or 5 degrees cooler than it is upstairs. so when its 21 upstairs, a nice comfortable tempature, its 16 or 17 downstairs, and I have to wear a sweater. Its actually so cold in my room that i had to block the air vent and open my window. There are alot of times that I actually wish i didnt have air conditioning.

well i do. but then i get too hot. so i turn it down. and get too cold. i go through this at the begining of every summer- trying to find the right temperature at my house where it's not too hot or too cold.
