How to UN-mount P12 Jibs

aright so im taking my P12 jibs off of my fujas and i cant find/get to the screws of the heel piece. can somebody explain to me how to take the heelpiece off please?

^ha..nice responce

there's actually kinda 2 pieces to their heel piece. you have to get the heel part off the heel track. there's a screw in back that goes sideways (not down into the ski) that you have to turn til the piece comes completely off the track. then you unscrew the track out of the ski. understand?

the screw that changes forward pressure(under the back of the heelpiece), back all the way out....then youll have a plate with 4 screws and just unscrew them

now should i mount them on my invaders myself or have them done by a shop or somethin?

Definitely have it done by a shop and the deed is done is a sweet song by dave matthews band.

why get them done by a shop? is it bad to do them yourself?

Because you might fuck up your knee trying to take the bindings off yourself! Take it to a shop that knows how to turn a screw counterclockwise.

Oops, thought you were still talking about unmounting them. Take them to a shop for mounting unless you have a jig and one of those release test rigs.

Becuase you need to make sure that they are exactly the right length apart..just trust me. Better to drop $20 then have a torn ACL.

i have a question bout the jibs.. do you need that lil orange piece or is just there for shits and giggles? doesnt seem too needed and i kinda lost one of em, so i dont see the point in buyin ganother...

vince, if you couldn't figure out how to take the heelpiece off the binding, you're stupid to think you can mount them yourself. go to the shop. they have a jig that they calibrate to your boot to make sure the bindings are just the right length apart and mounted perfectly straight on the ski. they use a drill press so the holes are perfectly straight, and they won't fuck up. just pay 20 bucks.

Acutally if you get people who know what they are doing to instlal them correctly and get the toe pressure in the toe piece to be correct - they are a sick bidning. I am assuming you live in ohio Vincepru so take them to Little Mountain Ltd. - they know how to install reactors correctly.

Eh last year was my first year so i still suck. I can do mute 3s and grinds though. Hopefully i'll get a summer set up in my yard and will be able to 270 on coming into the season. And i wanna get 5s and 7s down this season at the trails. It's all gonna go down at the trails...

Rails are so easy man. Just takes some good sessioning and the balls to go fast enough. You'd be killin' it on the rails in no time.
