wax your skis but dont scrape them. then, at the start of next season, scrape them and your good to go.
as for where to put them, i just keep them in my room year round. not sure about diff. humidities and whatnot, but if the have layer of wax on the bases you are proly fine.

I've tried this: put your skis in your room (or closet) leave them there til next winter, and they're fine

Yeah, I put most of mine in the closet. And amazingly they're still there next season!

I lock mine to a lift tower in the park on closing day.
They get lonely and homesick over the summer if I don't.

don't put wax on them, you don't even need to put any new wax on your base, on the last day, take your skis, sharpen them, then put some oi on. give them a good wipe, then put tape on the edges. the base is made out of plastic, so you don't really need to protect that.

Laterails:Yeah i think they aren't adjusted, or it could be the fact that all that is holding them together is one of my pubes

actualy no. The bases are P-Tex, not plastic. And you definately don't want to let your bases dry out.

ptex is a type of plastic. storage wax is a good idea, but it's not like the bases will shrivel up and fall off if you don't.

Or you could just wash it and put it in your closet as you normally would...
