its called socking..we tried skiing on masonite but it didnt work to well but it slide suuuper good on our socks...its pretty good to get your balance down and stuff and if you have enough masonite you man make a damn long runway....

I use starters socks usually, Fubus suppose to hook with up with some once the deal gest worked out....ummm but I find ankles socks make it really easy to slide.
