he was doing the sickest trick in his run. perfect cork nine with a crazy boned out shifty for the last part. it was so sick and he was sticking all of them, but the judges thought it was a big flail so he got owned on scores

no way shiftys are the way to go. it makes the trick so much harder and sick looking because they bone out the shifty for a while then at the last second he wiped it around for the landing and stomped it. it was so rad and so different

i think that the shifty is fucking off the richter. it is some fucking hot shit. but, i think it might have been a mistake to try putting it into a contest run; i think that it is easily misunderstood, and the judges probably misunderstood it. oh well.

im sitting next to john symms right now in his 2008 Ford Explorer that he got from Ford for doing the sickest shifty 9s at the Middle Eastern Ski Invitational. He wants to give credit to his primary influences, Big Bird and Donald Duck.
