Arse-end of nowhere though (sorry if there are any locals on this board but MAN is that place a trek - Next to impossible without a car as well...).
They get so much windblown being on the edge of the prairie that you don't even need snow for days and you will still get a couple of centimetres. Mind you the wind can make it obscenely cold (-40c> windchill :( ).
The back chutes are about the longest, steepest, most consistently pitched I've seen in a Canadian resort. Kicking Horse and Whistler have sections that are burlier IMO (anyone here ridden Truth, Dare or Consequence? :O ), but Castle has amazing runs that are just SO long and consistently steep.
Ridiculous scenery too.
