back when I played in highschool I was the substitute forward, so I pretty much got to play every position in the scrum, except 8-man. A new position eevry game was always interesting.

I play lock, I prefer flanker, but they stick me in the middle. I quit this year so I could ski more, our team was really unorganized so it wasn't a hard decision.

rugby is fun to watch, except i don't know the rules. it seems they all bunch together at certain points, lock arms, and the ball goes to someone, and they run... the only thing i know is you can only pass the ball backwards, or kick it forward.

yeh i started this thread yesterday when i had my first game/tournement ever and i had the best time of my life....i love rugby because u learn soooooo fast...by my last game i was dominating the field and destorying kids left right and center.not to mention rucking over and taking out 3 people at once.

i live in aus and rugby is a religion to alot of people here but i prefer american football so much better. rugby is a good game but there is a major image crisis with it. like most people tat like it heaps are dirty country hicks who dont know maths from english and act real tough and drive "utes" and drink cheap beer. and were 10 gallon hats and muster cattle and whack there women.

^ word and i full dont fit the stereotype at all but alot of the people i played with did. im not playing this year cuz it interfers with skiing but i played lock for 3 years then fullback for 2.
