I just got Adobe Aftereffects 6.5 and it's sick! You can make shit move and add all kinds of effects to objects, move camera angels, make things look all 3D. I'm pretty sure that is probably what they used in Phil Belangers section the other year with all of the crazy animations. But they didnt really take it that far, especially not in the realm of 3D. Cant remember the name of that movie.
I could definately try and make something for you. You should tell me what you are looking for.

it's pretty funny how maya came out with maya complete, with a name like ocmplete you would have thought there wasn't anything more, then bam maya unlimited, liquid, hair, everything you could ever need and so much more. Probably the deepest program I've ever touched.
