Today is a day of celebration, for it is the closest we have come yet to legalizing Marijuana. Soon, very soon we will be able to buy ouir bud in a convenient store across the street from the school. Research shows, its less harmful than drinking, a mildly stonded person is better at driving than a regular person. And that most of the time in courts. Pot cases are being thrown out cause they are non important. The legislation is seriously considering this act, so keep our fingers crossed. They have such a strong case. We pay 5 billion a year, or something like that, to stop the drug trade, yet over the last 40 years its done nothing. they want to focus the money on other things, because they relize giving criminal records to 21,000 teens a year is just ruining their lives over such a little thing. Its so true. This is a happy day for everyone.

I dunno, from what i read in the winnipeg sun, we're no closer now then we were before. The senate just did a report saying that it should be legal...and basically telling it like it is. Meanwhile the liberals, the police federation (i forget what it's called) and basically anyone with any actual say in what happens, is pretty much ignoring it and have no plans to change anything. It's good that the senate said that...but according to the sun and cbc, it probably won't change anything anytime soon.
There's always a chance though...and it's definitly caught the nations attention.
