Breaking Scratches

Where do the scratch fs's usually break, and how (jumping, landing on rails, etc.)? Thanks

they used to break because the binding ripped out. then they put in a plate and they dotn break anymore.

yeah that right. I am still waiting for mine. They took them back to the drawing board for a while and now they should be bomb proof.

Word Powaircrew4life. I am waiting for mine too, should be another week. The scratches will not break anymore, trust me. Don't hesitate to buy them because of this.

i talked to sarlow.... the rep for my shop and he showed me the old ones and the new ones and the old ones that had problems were glossy on top and did not have the halographic (sp) writing one the left ski, the new ones are kinda weird on the top sheet, they have a dull colored top sheet

just have the shop do a heli-coil when they mount the bindings...

Ok, I had a speakin to with my rep. He told me that they rearranged the layers of the construction of the ski, and doubled the thickness of the layer that holds on to the binding screws. Also, it is a new type of topsheet that is on the ski now so that it will not crack or chip. the edges of the topsheet are champhered now too, so this eliminates all problems with the ski.

and if they do break with the bindings already mounted? then can i send them back and get a new pair like some companies do, or does rossi not do that?

Yes, you can send them back, rossi has a really good warranty dept. they have helped me out numerous times.
