poseur skiers

alright theres this kid in my school whos really starting to annoy. a year ago i bought a pair of skogens from line, and when he heard about their super sale, he got a pair of 1260s, but never used them. he skiboarded all season, telling me how much he loves it, his screen name was like skiboarder123 or something, then a week later he tells me how much of a pussy sport skiboarding is and how much he likes skiing. he wants a shorter pair of skis(his 1260s are brand new but he wanted 153s). he went out and bought a bunch of videos and magazines, and changed his screen name to twintipskier. him and his friends put line stickers on everything they own. i dont even know why im pissed about it, but the kids gettin annoying.

now im not a great skier either, but i dont go out and try and act like one. does anyone else knows kids that are like this?

yah this kid named kam when i started new schoolin he boguth a brand new pair of pow airs and went up on them about 5 tyimes last year, couldent evan 180...now a couple weeks ago i bought the 153's (i am only 5 foot 1) and 2 days after i told him i got the 153's he ordered the 1260's....i want to kick his ass

no its not good that he is advertising line if he is that gay. everyone will see he is a fag and associate line with the gay kid. there is a kid like that near me, spring day last season im in the pipe and he sees me and comes over and he skis on the gayest like 150 rossignol bandits x's or somethign and he goes up the wall and like makes a turn at the top doesnt even reach the top of the pipe. and then at the top he is like awesome next year im getting some twin tips like yours man. It will just be funny if he does though because he is the littlest bitch on the planet. He fell going pretty slow with a helmet on and sat in the lodge for 2 hours. If he ever gets the balls to hit a jump fast he will probrably shit himself

posers get on my nerves too. i mean, i suck at freeskiing, i just learned my first 3 this year, but i don't go around saying that i'm better than everybody and that i can do do all kinds of tricks. just be real, if you aren't good at skiing don't act like it, nobody will care.

It seems to me liek alot of the posers are Line skiers. Dont know why, but thats one of the reasons I would never buy Line. There are some really amazing skiers on them too, but lots on Lines and lots on the 1080s.

who cares? They're buying the stuff which means more money goes into making skis better. If the only people who bought new gear were good at skiing and weren't posers..then the ski industry would be pretty pathetic. Stop worrying about what other people are doing.

I just KNEW a bunch of idiots would take that the wrong way and go off.
I also said there are some really amazing skiers on Lines, but it seems like the shops sell alot of Lines to the kids who dont really know anything about newschool skiing yet. Same with teh 1080s, maybe cuz they are the most popular? I dont know.

you know what is annoying? evrybody complaining about posers or other stuff that doesnt matter, i am beginning to wonder if anyone really likes skiing or are they just trying to impress other people. after reading chris booths interview in freeze he is a guy i look up to he is one of the few guys who realizes it isnt about posers, 'supporting the industry', or the revolution, or sponshorships. it is about fun. i dont care what you ride or if youre a poser or anything, if your having fun keep riding, everyone sucked at one point or another. if your worried about posers you are one yourself. making fun of me for not caring about posers, 'the revolution', and the old chubby people sitting behind desks all day starts now.

(trust me, the '' things aren't actually there)
