2016 Goals

As 2015 is wrapping up and 2016 roughly 24 hours away (give or take depending on where you are), what do you want to achieve in the next year. Skiing? School? Personal? Relationships? Financial?

What do you want to see happen?

For me:

1. Find a different job. I don't mind my current job and I love my co-workers, but it's not something I want to keep doing for the long run.

2. Do a better job with my finances. I'm not the worst, but I'm far from the best.

3. Travel somewhere I haven't been before.

4. Do a backflip on skis

1. Finish this year with at least a 3.8 gpa

2. Further improve my climbing skills and buck up and try sport (maybe trad as well) climbing.

almost have more pow days this month than I had all of last season, so I wanna keep doing that. also want to get over these mental blocks after fucking my foot up last year.

want to do really good at my new job and hopefully get brought on for the summer. make a ton of money and keep doing this ski and work all winter thing while schooling all summer. gonna be more fun skiing these mid weeks after the new year while everyones back to school and work.

Boat+private golf membership (Im seriously ready to leave the public courses in Boston behind for good) +30 or so more days skiing outside new england between now and May. Stop being lazy and spend time on new business ventures. Hire someone to do my busy work since there is a lot of it and it sort of drains me. Watch as much college basketball as possible and start winning more bets. Go to as many concerts and sports games as I can. Stay skinny and not get fat.

Yeah, so although those are real goals, here are some more realistic
1. Actually spend time in the park instead of fucking around in the trees and jibbing off natural stuff every day on the hill
2. Get into a dope college
3. Continue going to gym
4. Not necessecarily a priority rn but a girlfriend would be welcomed

- save all my money this winter/summer, and move to SLC.

- Ski more pow

- get learn'd with snow safety and avy knowledge, a touring setup, some gear, and get into skinning up stuff.

- do good in skewl
