shit i heard a sound just like that too when i was getting baked with my friend in the woods. scared the shit out of us so we drove off laughing our asses off thinking we were just paranoid and it was just some weird bird/owl shit. guess not.

It was probably one of those cat things that scream i think its like a mudcat or something

not a chance. This thing sounded huge and I've never heard of a mud cat in Washington.

My buddies house is fucking haunted. We were drinking bottles of beer from a 24 pack that was in the kitchen, about 15 feet from the couch we were sitting on. All of the sudden we hear a bottle explode. For no reason the bottle blew apart and beer went everywhere. It had been sitting there for a long time, nobody had touched it, it wasn't near anything crazy hot or cold.


Another time we were sitting on his couch and a thing of pencils and pens that was in the middle of a table by the kitchen, not leaning over or anything just decided to fall off the table and leave shit everywhere.


His friend was staying over there once and was telling him about how loud the people upstairs were being during the night. (there's no upstairs)

A bunch of other stuff that I forgot. Not the most interesting way to describe any of that but I tried to be concise.

i got some haunted stories too. ill post them tomorrow or something.

As far as non scary unexplainable shit, my life is pretty much a bunch of unexplainable shit. It's somewhat interesting though.


Much of it doesn't belong on the internet. If I see ya out at the slopes or at a party somewhere maybe I'll explain it over a beer(if I'm drinking)


There's some quality stuff in there, and that's just the stuff I remember. And actually there's some scary shit there too, well creepy scary.

A few people think my house is haunted. I am skeptical. My friend had a sleep over with me in 4th grade, and to this day claims an old woman opened a door on one side of the room and walked out the other door. He is in college now, and to this day will never crash at my house. My mom always thinks someone is smoking in the bathroom, nobody in my family smokes. The previous owners of my house were two old ladies who died from lung cancer.

Drunk back in the sketch days, end up in a random hotel room with skids I met that night. Let alone there was an angry dealer after who I was with. Knock knock; whose at the door of the random hotel room I was in that night with them?

You have abetter show at finding legit shrooms. Much harder to get bunked on shrooms unless you have no idea what you're looking for.


If they look like fat squares with short stems and are super crusty they're those bunk one from the supermarket. Other than that you got a good chance.

L there are so many variables. Especially if you buy from your friends brother in town that has some "acid". You can't be sure what chemical if any is blotted out on the paper by looking at it. That can be a bitch. Also having no idea what it's mic'd at. Some stuff you could eat a bunch of and have it be just enough, some stuff you could eat one or 2 and have it be insanely intense.


Either way start small. Hallucinogenics are powerful drugs. It isn't a race, it isn't a contest. You can always eat more, but you can't un-eat what you've ingested.


With lsd it's best to get it from a friends source, friends who are legit and no there shit. Get an idea of how strong it is and what a good dosage is. You might want to just take 1 to feel it out. Nothing wilder than having shit get too real, and still being hours from the peak.



Idk. They're both different. I would go back and forth on which was my favorite. I guess it was whichever I had an awesome experience more recently. I like things about both.



But you really want to be careful buying L. Not to try to scare you but there are a fuck ton of rc's out there these days. Just because it gives you a head change, get's you fucked up. or makes you trip does not in anyway mean it's LSD. That's one of the problems. If people get fucked up it's automatically real. You want to stay away from the dirty chem'd up shit.


I guess maybe it's best to start with mushrooms to get your feet wet. More just until you find the right people to get a good source of L.



Also when doing it for the first time try to have some sort of a game plan. Don't do it somewhere that will make you super nervous, involve having to drive a car at some point, being home with your parents, anything like that. I'm not saying have a structured game plan of what to do, because fuck, you'll never follow it anyway.

Def do it with some good friends that are experienced. Leave the shitheads. Nothing would be worse than tripping for your first time and having some douche bag that doesn't understand fuck with you because he thinks it's funny.


Bring music if possible. If you or your friends play instruments bring that shit as well. Djembes, guitars, banjo, didgeridoo, shaker, or even a cowbell. That shit can save your life. Having a fire can be a lot of fun too.

Probably don't want to do it at a huge house party. Having room can be very important. Nothing worse than feeling "trapped" when your tripping. Sometimes for no reason you just need to be somewhere else, if you can't get anywhere, you might not have a good time.(One of my first trips I ate a bunch of boomers at a huge house party and had a really good time. The space didn't really bother me. Crawled around the backyard when it got too crowded. But for the most part prolly not the best idea for first trip)
Def bring some nugs to smoke. Sometimes that first bowl in to your trip is what sets it off so be careful. You might not feel like youre tripping really, torch one, and be HOLY FUCK I FEEL WEIRD.

It might not be a bad idea to have some beers on hand. Drinking a few beers on the come up helps to relax you. It can help to ease you into the trip comfortably and take some of the worry out.


Whether you smoke or not, bringing some cigarettes might be a good idea. Sometimes holding onto that cig can get you through some crazy shit. That's all up too you. I would chain smoke while I losing my mind.


Might not want to have anything crazy valuable on you or in your pockets. If you don't need your wallet you might want to leave it and just grab some money if you'll need it. It's easy to lose a lot of things when you're really fucked up. That can make a good trip spiral downward, and even if it doesn't, it still sucks to lose shit.

Just enjoy yourself, get weird, rage some tunes, get primal by a camp fire, take a hike, whatever, just enjoy the shit out of it. If you start to feel shitty try not to dwell on it. If one of your friends starts to feel shitty, try to keep their mind off of it. Take care of each other. Good luck, save journeys, and enjoy the shit out of it.

not to thread jack, but careful with that shit. physiological effects are minimal, drinking is worse for you, but shit can fuck with your head. in my experience its much harder to predict the dosage you are getting with shrooms because they are organic and by nature unpredictable. you can eat an eighth of shrooms and just laugh your ass off for 3 hours, or eat 1 g of some potent shit and lose your mind. likewise with acid; it is synthesized from ergot or some shit, but because its made in a lab (or some dude's basement in sketchier cases) it is easier to pinpoint the dosages to the exact microgram, so you know exactly how much of d-lysergic acid you are getting. however, if you get it from someone you don't know, there is a high probability you are ingesting lsd mixed with other chemicals, or different designer drugs altogether. i recently ate some gummy bears from a sketchier dealer of mine and later found out that they were blotted with a small amount of acid, and a large amount of beta-blockers. not a bad experience but definitely a wake up call to check the drugs you are doing. stay safe, enjoy!

I've seen plenty of ghosts. Not sure if it counts as unexplainable though. Weirdest thing was probably when I was put on a hike with my family and I saw a fire that nobody else saw, and heard a Sami-type chanting.

I've also had a lot of extremely sketchy dream-experiences, mostly before I really learned to lucid-dream. Now I lucid-dream almost every night, and can control it pretty well, but when I was first trying it, my mind went nuts. It wasn't dreaming, as much as it was being paralyzed in my bed and having hallucinations.

You can't predict your dosage of anything really with out knowing someone who's tried it.


If you buy shrooms from somebody, find out what they take etc. You can always eat a little and then next time do more. No need to do it all at once to make sure you get fucked up. (love how I'm giving advice there that I never seemed to follow)

Not exactly paranormal but this was probably the creepiest thing that ever happened to me. It is actually rather similar to the one in the OP. I live all the way in central Massachusetts though.

One time me and a couple buds were outside of a McDonalds jump starting a car when we heard this brutal, most horrifying scream out in the back woods/trailer park behind the McD's. No doubt was it a woman and no doubt was it from pain, but it was blood curdling and to this day I remember exactly what it sounded like, it was of a woman getting stabbed I'm sure of it. So we hang around for a bit because the cops showed up and I was concerned. We see one pull up, get out of the car, pull out his gun, and proceed to sneak around back, another two cops pull in and run into the trailer park from another entrance. Another 5 minutes pass and we hear no gun shots, no screams, nothing. So we are about to leave when we see ambulances roll up and this guy hand-cuffed and limping out of the woods looking creepy as shit and the medics grab a stretcher and book it into the woods, at that time we were asked to leave but we never figured out what had happened to the woman. Anyways the story itself wasn't extremely creepy just that scream, it was beyond sketchy.
