I bought this helmet last season when my old one unfortunately broke.
The Shiv 2 is the lightest helmet that I've ever felt/used. It honestly feels like there isn't anything on my head besides a beanie.
I haven't had very many hard hits to the dome thankfully but with a few small hits i'm pretty sure that it will protect me if anything hard comes my way.
