Overall my lasting impression of this jacket was outstanding. I very much enjoyed wearing this jacket since it did a outstanding job throughout the winter I would rate it at 9/10 the only downside is that the waterproofing could be better and the built in mittens sometimes get in the way. But either than that it was a excellent jacket.
Performance
This product performed excellent for me. I did not have to wear a hoodie underneath it in temperatures ranging from -15* C and up. But when it started to get colder throughout the year I had to put on a long sleeve thermal and a hoodie at some points. The 15/10k water proofing did a substantial job at keeping me nice and dry through out the majority of the year towards the end of the ski season the water proofing started to diminish and the jacket would become slightly damp. Either than that the jacket performed at a exceptional level.
Design
The deign for this jacket was excellent. Many pockets to all you to keep cameras at a easy access and to be able to keep your ipod close to your chest with out letting it get wet. The Satin lined interior of the jacket was excellent it felt smooth and I had no issues with getting rashes. The built in glove feature was a excellent add on because the gloves were very good during those warm sunny skiing days and they would tuck away very nicely when you want to wear normal gloves.
Value
For the price i paid for the jacket was a bit on the pricer side. But when it comes down to the warmth and all the excellent features in the jacket it was a great price.
Fit
I bought a xl. I am 6'1 and it was perfect fit. The jacket came down to about my mid thigh and it did not ride up on me at all. I very much enjoyed this jacket in this size. I recommend trying on the jacket before buying because as the sizes get larger the jacket with increases a substantial amount, and I had to tighten it at the bottom for the majority of the year since snow would ride up into my jacket.
Durability
The durability of the sessions jacket was very good. Except for the water proofing wasn't as good as i expected it to be. When i first purchased the jacket the water proofing was exceptional but through out the winter and wearing it in every condition the water proofing started to diminish and the sleeves would become wet over time.
