Being skiers, we’ve collectively descended millions of vertical feet, making countless turns. While it’s these turns we chase around the world, it’s the other moments that we remember. In skiing, one turn blends effortlessly into another, as they do in our memory. But it’s the periphery, the context, the landscape, and the friendships that are truly memorable. Iceland gave us just enough snow to get by and still call it worth it, but more importantly its unique realities transported us to the timeless feeling of simply skiing with friends.

All too often in free skiing, we have to say goodbye to friends and legends. Last week Tof Henry and, Chilean mountain guide, Juan Seronet were killed in an accident on the Puntiagudo volcano in Chile. Tof was a friend and I wanted to share a little tribute, because always told me how much he loved NS.
Regarding crews, it's fair to say that Chef (formerly Chef Boyardee) is what you would want from a group of friends. Dedicated skiers, who like to film, and have fun. After producing edits for years, the group of 20-odd skiers came together to drop their first feature film, Exit Strategy.
