For park and pow? Not really considering but genuinely curious how do they compare to others
Well, they are pretty good for me, but I bought my last pair of K2s right before they cut Seth and Andy. Will not do business with again that was bullshit.
They are made in China, so in my opinion, they aren't any good.

that's one of the silliest things I've ever heard. Sure you can hate the fact that you're buying an outsourced ski which is commendable but don't discount the actual properties of the ski being that it's made in China. There's a whole lot of American made skis that are absolute garbage and used outsourced materials (i.e. only assembled in America)

There's plenty of way better brands that MSRP for the same price that use quality products and are handcrafted in NA. Makes no sense to buy from K2 skis or any of the other conglomerate's unless you get some kind of crazy good price.
K2 is like Burton, they just produce the cheapest shit in the highest quantity possible to produce the most amount of profit. Their gear is not quality anymore.
I've never had a problem with K2, IMO they are comparable to Armada in terms of quality. The top sheets are very durable but their bases are a little softer than Armada's. Yeah they aren't "core" but if you like how they ski who really cares. They are coming out with some pretty cool new pow skis this season called the Catamaran, they have an asymmetrical taper and are supposed to be super surfy.
I like K2. They've got good skis with good durability and they've done a lot for the industry. And their athletes are sick!
Their new models have definitely helped reverse the company's reputation of selling skis that are shit.

What skis have they made that are shit? I am not here to defend them but I have never heard a bad word about durability or performance. It's not the skis fault the people who make them are pricks
I like K2 skis. They are noodley, but super damp and absorbant. Ive owned a few from the past 5 years, and if I had to describe them in one word, I'd say versatile. Ive owned
2012 189 obsethed
2014 179 shreditor 112
2014 189 Shreditor 102
2016 189 shreditor 112
The obsethed and shreditor 112s were fun, versatile skis with surprisingly high speed limits. The shreditor 102 was the kung fujas rebadged, and I liked it, but it didnt WOW me.

Older domains, older k2 press, to name a few.

Spoken like someone who has truly no industry knowledge. Comparing Burton to K2, oh man buddy please crawl back into your hole. haha
They make great skis.
Ignore the "core" BS and just go skiing.
Heavy as hell, damp as hell, reliable as hell, fun as hell
