Where do my fellow skiers work?
I work at Target
I repel off the sides of building in Burlington and clean the windows. I do a little ground work and interior office/houses stuff also but the roof work is the most fun. We have a crew of about 5 guys and we have a lot of fun.
If anyone in the Burlington area sees this and is looking for a job we're looking to expand the crew in the spring.
Not an official job but if I need a full wallet a guy can get me 2-3 jobs a weekend of yardwork or general labor for $11 an hour but haven't worked in like 3 weeks because of school and sports
I work for a sales and marketing agency managing a team of people that promote CE goods.
Network Engineer for Frontier Communications
a jack of many trades while mastering none of them.
- worked guest services all summer, bumped chairs all last winter
- used to run ziplines and shit which was fun
falling back on coaching so I can get paid to go ski again this winter, but eventually I want to get linked up with cool marketing companies like MSI (Mountain Sports International, they host/set up a series of events including The Subaru Freeride Series) so I can help coordinate and plan really dope events like ski comps and festivals and shit like that.
Independent arborist contractor + skishop monkey + negotiator and topographic surveyor in the pipeline sector
Right now in the summer/fall i just do random odd jobs (roofing, landscaping, wood) this summer i also worked for a small tomato farm, and with a guy doing septic tank work. For the winter i applied for my local ski area and hoping to get a job there for the free pass n shit.

For real though, I just got an interview at Target for tomorrow. What do you do there? Is target a good place to work or should I wait to possibly hear back from Dicks?

Aw nuts. That sucks. I really didn't want to work during the semester because I already have an unpaid job and I'm taking 19 credits in school. I just need somewhere close to work like 10ish hours a week. I'm quitting when ski season starts anyways so if it does suck I'll only have to tough it out for a couple months.

In my experience, the backroom members enjoyed their job a lot more than those on the floor. Oh and if you have a degree you can expect to instantly become an ETL or STL; it doesn't matter if some other guy has worked there for 20 years, you are far better equiped for the job than him in corperates eyes.
It's an ok place to work. Far better before the doors open!

Its a pretty nice place to work. 10% discount. They are very flexible with your hours. Cashier sucks be on sales floor or back room. (When you start out you will be a cashier for a little bit)
Other wise great pay and not too shabby
I work in a brewery. hard work but the benefits are pretty sweet.
Has anybody done Whole Foods or Home Depot? Those within my area are hiring.

I work the counter at a Chinese Food place
Did work as a zipline guide and park crew for the past few years. Now I have a grown up job as a Mechanical Engineer/designer. Still on the payroll for zipline and maybe park crew this year just for a free pass.

Lifeguard. Easiest fucking job ever if you know how to swim. Unless some idiot actually needs saving. especially if they're crusty or just especially fat fucks that try to pull you down if you're trying to save them. luckily I never had to do that.
Just took a job running the park at West Mtn in NY. Turned down a job in CO, but powder sucks anyway.
ICE COAST 4 LYFE DAWGZZZZ

I worked at Home Depot as a cashier and it wasn't so bad. They're really big on customer service so chances are your coworkers will be really friendly and helpful. I made some good friends when I was there.
Right now I'm a grounds crew guy for my home town school district and a team host for the football team.
But after college if I don't move out west to find a job I'll most likely join the Air Force.
ICaryBBI UNIVERSITY!!!
Fuck that shit.....haven't done one in so long. Perks of being good friends with the boss :)
What store you work at?
Irish restaurant. Basically just get drunk on copious amounts of Guinness.
JAHpowBut after college if I don't move out west to find a job I'll most likely join the Air Force.
as a veteran I recommend joining the military as a last resort. The Air force and the military in general is not as glamorous as the commercials make it out to be. Especially if you already have a college degree

Hahaha. I'm a server at a Carrabba's in Pennsylvania. They make us do all the tests and BBI shit in store and what not. It's ridiculous.
