have had a hard time with my drivers test. Any advice that might help me pass this time? :)
How did you screw up the first time? Its way easier than some people make it.
Just exaggerate your mirror checks and take your time. Don't be a nervous wreck, there are a lot more nerve- wracking things that you will have to deal with in the future.
Not sure what state your from, but each state has different requirements. I'm from New York and here you have to go through a 4 way stop, traffic light, 2 way stop, parallel park, and do a 3 point turn.
Most of it you learn just by driving for a while. Practice things like parallel parking or whatever they're gonna have you do on your test. Make sure you stop completely, use your turn signals whenever you need them, use your mirrors and make it obvious that you're using them(turn your whole head, like not kidding).
Don't hit any curbs while parking, don't wave on traffic at stop signs(that's how my friend failed), don't speed, don't hit anyone or anything, and you should be good.
Don't roll into stop signs, be overly obvious that you're checking mirros and stuff, both hands on the wheel, and be confident and pay attention. Good luck
It differs from every state.
When stopping, make sure you stop on the line, if your line of sight is blocked by a tree pull up so the front of your car lines up with the curb. Always check your blind spots when merging or changing lanes. Make smooth stops. Drive anywhere from -3 to +2 the speed limit.
Read through your drivers manual a few times to refresh your memory.
How did you fail in the first place? Maybe you should practice driving more instead of passing out of luck and endangering other drivers on the road.
Right before the test is about to start, close your eyes, and take a really deep breath. Just relax, you're gonna do great. Keep your eyes closed and fucking floor it, you've got nothing to worry about, just relax.

this
You're supposed to drift, chirp the tires off the line and apex every corner.
Learn how to drive
/thread
Seriously though. It's not about passing the test, it's about understanding the rules of the road and how to operate your vehicle. If you can't pass you shouldn't pass until you figure it out.
Sure, you're excited to get on the road and drive but there are so many fucking horrific drivers out there and we don't really need any more. Learn to drive better and you'll pass.
Be safe and don't drive like a douche.

Yeah ok,Spongebob.
Practice in the car you're gonna take your test in too. I took mine in my brothers jeep(5 speed) and they can take points off if you don't shift smoothly so be careful of that. Most people are better off taking it in an automatic.
Confidence is definitely key.
And don't piss off your instructor
Drivers test has been super easy for all of my homies here in michigan.. all you need to do is go to the place where you are going to take it on a sunday and practice parking in the lines till you have it perfect. make mental notes of where your cars is compared to the scenery around and use them as guidance when taking. Drive around where the test is again and make sure to watch your speed. Drive a smaller car if possible and make sure to do full stops, remember spacing and all the basics. I could give better/more specific advice if you could infront us on what you struggled with the first time. Oh, and dont run into your drivers instructors car... i saw that happened a few years back.
Tl;dr dont fucking suck at driving
When I took my driving test, at the beginning, really quietly and mysteriously I just said "hey" to the guy. Then I drove that ford focus test car like it had never been driven before. Then at the end of the test, as the instructor sat next to me, shocked from my amazing driving, I said, "Want a tooth pick." He took the tooth pick, gave me my papers and we went our separate ways.

This exactly. Just relax and you will do your best. Jus be calm
Just remember, Speed "Limits" and "Stop" signs are just suggestions
I remember when I took my 5 hours. The guy also did driving tests. Said one time some girl crashed into a fucking telephone pole and got out of the car crying and ran home and left him there with the car.
Fucking epic!
Do that!
Would be a great ending to this thread
Or just casually light up a doober to show him how well you can drive sober and burnt. Maybe mix a beer in there if you want to get risky
One thing that I have noticed that helps is to put the keys in the ignition and then turn it to the right until the engine starts. Idk just a little thing I do.
Take 2 viagra 2 hours before youre test, trust me
drivers test is usually easy af, just calm down and dont do anything crazy and they'll pass you
Hoon the shit out of the course. They'll realize your skill and inner calling as a hoonigan.
Another great drivers ed story
A few years back there was this one girl who was known for being an awful driver and just overall not the brightest. On one of her last drives with her instructor, a dog ran in front of the car, so the instructor told her not to swerve and that you had to hit the animal(normal rule). The dog luckily got out of the way and ran into the ditch, but the girl, thinking that she "had to hit it" kept on following the dog into the ditch and off the side of the road.
She immediately was kicked out and i think she still doesn't drive.
So OP if an animal jumps infront of your car... hit that shit but don't follow it if it gets out of the way
