what was the worst thing that happened to you throughout the season
Knocked myself out for quite a while, cause I wasn't used to the lower tips of my new skis and flipped myself over in the landing.
Landed on the head...
BroookMurica sweet in the olympics....
sweep* im drunk
Found a nice little lion king peak coming out of the woods to ~8 foot drop back onto the trail. Sent it and landed perfectly into the transition, which turned out to be wind blown pow. Tips sank, scorpioned and slid on my face out across the trail. Probably the hardest I have ever fallen.
Another time, hit this rainbow box/rail with a decent drop off the end. Didn't commit to shit, landed sideways and exploded.
hoodcrewwatching everyone in our crew go down w/ season ending injuries. that sucked
thats because you guys go hard as fuck, on and off the mountain. (and everywhere between, like that car ride)
tore my cartilage in my knee the first day of the season
I was about to hit this rail and the jump was really icy and someone carved through it so my skis caught in the carve and I slammed into the rail.
Landing switch to seeing someone landing 1 second after me. Freaking out and reverting on the landing. Catching an edge and slamming my head against my fully extended arm. My earbuds were out, so I actually heard the pop/tear of my shoulder dislocating and my rotator cuff tearing.
Who the fuck follows a chick into a jump with only about a second delay? WHY? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?

To be fair they were probably going much faster than you because they weigh more and came up on you faster than they expected
Having a little kid hit my bindings and his parents refusing to pay to have it fixed (my skis were blocking a rail because we were working in it and he wanted to hit it). Broke my brake and somehow the back spring
immasTearing my labrum and screwing up my rotator cuff off a pole plant.
Forgot to mention I ended up having to get it repaired, and almost required open shoulder surgery to fix it. It made me super sick for a month and basically blew my season.
still had a day on my revelstoke ski card and wasnt able to make it up to use it. one less pow day skied this season
I can't decide whether my worst moment of the season was landing too far forward switch and my ski popping off, somehow rotating to the side, and then I fell on it and got a 4 inch long 1 inch deep cut on my thigh, 38 stitches and it was the day before a comp, then I missed the next competition too since I was still recovering. Or when I seriously compressed 3 vertebrae (t7, t8 and t9) and because of my broken back I can't go to the first week of woodward and meet Garrett Russell and Will Wesson
This crash:
Blacked out, woke up in a pile on the ground, threw up, and had chronic neck pain for the next three months.
Got hit and broke ski, nose, pole, and had fracture on shin on birds of prey in beaver creek
I partially tore my meniscus and was out for three weeks because of that. On the bright side, I didn't need surgery because it was apparently a vertical tear. Other than that, my knee is screwed for the rest of my life.
Thinking that I blew my knee 8 days after ditching my crutches for a broken foot
today, after 3 days of riding in a total whiteout the weather finally cleared, and by afternoon my knee was so sore i couldn't even put pressure on it anymore and had to stop riding.
All said and done, it's been a dope season
