Shift is a short ski film produced by Peter Vanderwilden and myself. We will be releasing it on friday of this week. This is a park segment that I made with intent of putting it in the movie but decided to drop it separately to keep the movie entirely Backcountry and Urban. This segment features skiing from Dylan Sondrup, Colby Stevenson, Andy Partridge, Keegan Kilbride, Jay Wilder, Tim Ryan, Riley McDonough, Jake Doan and Quinn Wolferman. Shot a few days with Quinn Wolferman at Park City and Canyons
This project is our very first full length movie. In this piece we want to portray a raw and genuine look into our 2016/17 ski season; from completely failed trips half way across the country to finally having a healthy squad and an all time trip to Oregon and California in the spring. This is a line up of good brotha's from all around the country that were lucky enough to find a common home where a lot of the movie was filmed, Utah. This project represents a shift in a lot of the members of our crews lives, moving out of Massachusetts and expanding out west to link up with some new homies. This was our first winter putting 100% of time, energy, and money towards making a ski movie, and it has roasted the squad. We've broken bones, broken cars, fought with sanch, snapped a couple bungees, broken winches, and the list goes on. Everything that could go wrong has, that being said this is going to be our best project yet both skiing and filming wise.
