Spirit of Sarah Scholarship

To honor and remember their much loved and long-time camper and coach Sarah Burke, Momentum Ski Camps is launching the Spirit of Sarah Scholarship. A free session of the Girls Week camp at Momentum will be awarded every year to a young female skier who embodies Sarah's strengths, characteristics and love of skiing.


One of the causes dear to Sarah’s heart was encouraging young girls to follow their dreams and believe in their skiing abilities. Sarah was a huge influence in getting Momentum's Girls Week off the ground and inspired so many young women through her incredible skiing talent, but more importantly through her demonstration of modesty, kindness and her wonderful approach to life.


To apply for the Spirit of Sarah Scholarship, please email Momentum a presentation explaining why you feel you deserve to be awarded the free session at camp. The presentation can be a letter, a video, photos, power point or a combination of these, and you can also include letters of support from your local ski coach, teachers or other people who feel you deserve to earn the camp and can contribute to your presentation. The deadline for submissions is June 1st, 2012, and please send your application to info@momentumcamps.com.
