Legendary Spring Skiing at Mammoth Through Memorial Day Mammoth Mountain, CA – Mammoth Mountain announced today that it plans to remain open for skiing and snowboarding through Memorial Day, May 26, 2008, weather permitting.  Although most resorts around the country are closed or closing soon for the 2007/08 winter season, Mammoth is experiencing exceptional spring conditions with top-to-bottom riding on a current base depth of four to six feet.   It is no secret that many ski and snowboard professionals make Mammoth Mountain their home for spring training.  Unbound Terrain Parks are open and in great shape with Unbound Main, Disco Park and Forest Trail featuring a wide variety of jumps, rails and jibs for all ability levels.  In addition, Mammoth Mountain is the only resort in the United States with both an 18-foot-tall Super Pipe and a 22-foot-tall Super-Duper Pipe open. Mammoth’s excellent spring conditions are the perfect way to welcome Spring Fest to the mountain.  Spring Fest is a celebration of Mammoth’s legendary spring skiing under the California sun that runs through May 18, 2008.   Spring Value Season prices are now in effect at Mammoth ($64 adult, $47 youth, $32 child and senior). Spring Fest lift and lodging packages are available from just $111 per person per night (some restrictions apply). Upcoming Spring Fest events at Mammoth include the award winning West Coast Invitational (May 2-4, 2008) with a huge on-snow party, Nighttime Rail Jam in The Village, Fiesta de la Pipa and live entertainment by My-G featuring special guest and Talib Kweli.  For more information on spring skiing and snowboarding through Memorial Day at Mammoth Mountain visit MammothMountain.com.
