PRIMETIME Slip N Slime Event Info

On January 25th and 26th, the newest event in snowboarding makes its way to the Village of Blue Mountain.  Previously known as "Rockstar Rail Jam", PRIMETIME Slip N' Slime is bigger, better and more exciting - promising to make an even greater impact on The Village than ever seen before. 
 
With two days of activities scheduled, there is sure to be something for everyone!  On Friday night, Ride snowboards will be premiering �CUT & PASTE� and �TIME WELL WASTED� in the village plaza. On Saturday, more than 125 athletes from eastern Canada will be competing against each other for a grand prize of $5,000 in cash and prizing and a chance at tons of give a-ways. PRIMETIME will be hosted by the editor of Snowboard Canada Magazine Matt Houghton and Ride Snowboards pro-athlete Andrew Hardingham. 
 
After the nighttime finals under the lights, the fun continues at Gel night club for the official                              Coors Light after-party.  Athletes, friends and spectators of legal drinking age are invited to come out to the party and celebrate the day's events with a toast and a few cold certified Coors Lights.
 
Come out and join more than 3,000 expected spectators to witness PRIME TIME Slip �N� Slime at the Village of Blue Mountain.

 **eventSing promotions retains, in its sole discretion, the right to remove any athlete, staff, employee, media, contractor or volunteer from the event site that is posing a risk to themselves or others. 
 
COMPETITION FORMAT: (SKI & SNOWBOARD) 

PRACTICE: Controlled Start - Open Practice

QUALIFIERS Jam Format: Athletes must check in with starter before dropping-in for course clearance and bib identification.  The number of athletes advancing to the finals will be determined at the mandatory athletes meeting prior to the beginning of qualifications (Proposing Top 5 Am + Top 5 Pro move onto finals).

FINALS  3 Judged runs, All runs count. Top 3 in each category move into the finals
                     (Super Finalists announced immediately following Finals � athletes to stay inside course parameters)

SUPER FINALS: Athletes to check in with announcer on top of start deck and athletes are to publicly call their tricks before dropping-in. Super Finalists will receive 3 runs each, podium will be decided on Single Best Trick.

MANDATORY: Athlete site inspection by all Skiers and Snowboarders before taking first practice run.  The mandatory
site inspection entails assessing the rail arena features; takeoffs, landings, rails, ledges gaps, Slime pit, to assure each individual is able, aware and comfortable with the risks associated with event course.  Athletes will be given thirty minutes to practice; Athletes are encouraged to communicate any concerns or questions to the eventSing staff before taking additional runs.

Results will be read by the host announcer immediately following Qualifiers, Finals and Super Finals.  Results will also be posted on our central information board located in front of the judges� tower.   Official results, pictures, and videos will be uploaded on www.thevillageatblue.com and www.eventsing.com by midnight the following Tuesday.
