WHISTLER BLACKCOMB VENUE FOR MATCHSTICK PRODUCTIONS’ WORLD PREMIERE AND KISS CONCERTEpic Weekend Has MSP on Friday, September 14 and KISS on Saturday, September 15

WHISTLER, BC, August 28, 2007 – The much-anticipated world premiere of Matchstick Productions’ (MSP) ski movie “Seven Sunny Days – Short Stories From a Long Winter,” will take place Friday, September 14 in Whistler Village’s Skiers Plaza for a free outdoor show. MSP’s all star roster of athletes will be around to sign posters and tell their own stories about the winter that just wouldn’t end.

The premiere will kick off what could very well be the most epic weekend Whistler will ever see that doesn’t include massive snowfall. Legendary rock band KISS will make a rare outdoor appearance in Whistler on Saturday, September 15. KISS will bring their renowned music and stage show to the Coca-Cola Tube Park on the slopes of Blackcomb Mountain in Whistler. The concert will feature opening bands, barbecue and beer gardens with performances from 4:30 through the evening.
