Adventures in Transition - "Stick to Your Guns"
"It's sort of like a dream right? Live in the place you grew up with a handful of your best friends and ski every single day. It's tough to convince yourself that this is real
life, or even a possibility. This life was never planned - and it was certainly unexpected to end up back where it all started, but not a surprise. With another year in the bag exploring areas from the past and re-discovering new places to roam in the backcountry, there's no doubt in my mind I'm right where I want to be.
I'm proud of where I am from and proud to share the dream with so many close close friends. Thank you
Khai and LJ for coming to my make-believe world and making AIT a reality. Thanks to Bobby Brown who made the entire Montana trip come to life, you are a true friend and I am grateful for the support you've given. And the biggest thank you of all to Jake Strassman - the creative overlord of all we do, AIT will have a lasting presence in skiing because of the heart you have put into it." - Banks Gilberti
In their self-supported project, Lupe Hagearty, Evan Lai-Hipp, Keegan Kilbride, Kirk Scully, and friends display their own take on the art of urban skiing. By Us Fuck You.
Recordings of the Sun - Gavin Rudy
Gavin is a young filmmaker out of Colorado and is back at it this season with another movie. His impressive cinematography combined with a goofy storyline (and great skiing) make Recordings of the Sun a must-see.
Honorable Mentions: (Full movies released after original post date)
Within Winter - The Coterie
Book of Times - Ahmet Dadali
