Just wanted to share this article with you guys, http://www.usatodayeducate.com/staging/index.php/campus-beat/u-of-cincinnati-student-determined-to-chase-down-a-cure-for-her-disease. Last fall, we were super encouraged by her story, and threw together a rail jam to help raise awareness and support, and now she's getting national coverage! Sara has a neurological disease called myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME), that confined her to a wheel chair and kept her from being able to be mobile around the University of Cincinnati's hilly campus. Her campaign has helped her, as well as other students obtain the appropriate motorized wheelchair's to get around campus with ease. This year, we will be continuing our partnership with them to continue raising support and awareness with a bigger and better rail jam, and are more than stoked! This inter, she really wants to get on the slopes with an adaptive sports program, so be on the lookout for more updates on that!
