The Solid Seven will be a whenever the hell I feel like it article series detailing 7 solid, not necessarily great, skiing related topics. Whether it is 7 questions with everyone's favorite pro Jason Arens *cough* finish the damn interview *cough* (yes it's still not done yet), 7 epic BC jump shots, or the 7 gnarliest bails from the previous month, just know I'm doing you a solid.
Shoutout to TallxT Dan for being my lovely encyclopedia of knowledge.
Matt Pothier, Mark Pomkyota, Tyler Whelan, Colby James West. Just a few of the names that compiled 2bi4's all star crew. Creighton Elinski brought the Tail 5 to the masses with his banger 2010 KOS entry. Even with Bury The Hatchet, 2bi4's attempt at making a crew comeback. It's a damn shame they dispersed but everyone, as is the case with most legendary crews, all went their separate ways after they blew up.
I H8 NY
Where it all began for Will, Andy, Ahmet, Giray and the rest of the crew. Skiing ice and hating every minute of it was just another day in the life of the I H8 NY crew. The East coast, as many of you know, have produced some of the best skiers in the game right now.
This band of Killingnant misfits captivated us with their ignant, sometimes straight up ridiculous skiing, and large amounts of Sugarkush. Unfortunately for me, my first edit of their's that I saw was also the last one they made. #WTA
Not much more to say here than this. FUCK! ClownSchool created some of IRPC's hottest up and comers, namely Cheddar, LJ, Eheath, Ware, Kutcher, Heff, Kiesel, Wyble, and more. It's a shame they disbanded but may this edit forever live on.
Evan William's brainchild that brought some of the best East Coast skiers into the limelight and exploded their careers. Essentially turning into Nordica's pro team, NEW INTEL is alive and well but not quite the same as before.
2009 Level 1
Refresh, one of my favorite Level 1 films, was probably one of the most star studded line-ups in Level 1's 15 year history. Wallisch, B-Dog, Wiley Miller, Jon Brogan, Harlaut, Delorme, Ahmet, JF Houle, and more all graced our eyes with some incredible riding that blew minds then and will 10 years down the road.
Boasting the best up and comers in freeskiing, this team was stacked from top to bottom and oozed style from every orifice. Wallisch, Delorme, Walker, Harlaut, Chug, Brogan, and the list goes on. I don't think there will ever be a team that can match their steeze again.
