After much speculation, it's now official. Sammy Carlson has signed to Armada Skis.

At age 26, Sammy Carlson has already built a legacy. He took his first of many X-Games medals in 2007, landed the world's first switch-triple rodeo (at a whopping 110 feet) in 2010, among many other accomplishments.

The deal was made during the filming of Teton Gravity Research's, "The Sammy C Project". The movie, filmed over two years, focuses on the new side of Sammy: a creative backcountry skier no longer confined by the walls of competition.

From armadaskis.com: “Skiing is an art, it’s a lifelong passion,” Sammy told us. “Whatever you do, it’s all about the adventure. Skiing is what you make it.”

Carlson joins Armada's elite roster featuring other legends in skiing, including Ian Provo, Henrik Harlaut, and Tanner Hall.

Welcome to Armada, Sammy.
