Jennifer Smith (USA) who had already gotten into last year’s finals made the race on Sunday and h as been crowned the 2007 ASP Women’s World Longboard Champion. Bei freestyle.ch – dem grössten Freesport-Event Europas – werden auch
dieses Jahr die weltbesten Snowboarder, Freeskier, FMXer und
Skateboarder am Start sein. Somit dürfen sich die 50 000 erwarteten
Zuschauer von 21.–23. September 2007 auf spektakuläre Tricks und Jumps
freuen, wenn die Athleten um die über 110’000 US-Dollar Preisgeld und
die begehrten Titel freestyle.champ und crossover.champ fighten.

Schon am Freitag gehts um alles.
Ein hochklassiges Starterfeld und die Freestyle-Arena vor der
herrlichen Zürichsee-Kulisse – das hat sich bei freestyle.ch über die
Jahre nicht verändert. Ändern wird sich dieses Jahr aber bei den
Wettkämpfen etwas ganz Entscheidendes: Am Freitag wird es nicht nur für
Snowboarder und Freeskier auf dem Big Air Vorqualifikationen geben,
sondern auch für die FMXer auf dem Dirt-Jump und die Skateboarder in
der überdachten Kingsize Halfpipe. Die besten Rider vom Freitag
qualifizieren sich für die Wettkämpfe vom Samstag. Die besten vom
Samstag starten am Sonntag bei Final Sessions und Superfinals.
