BagJump: Newest Addition to Boreal’s Arsenal

Donner Summit, CA, (January 12, 2011) – For years, Boreal’s terrain parks have been the training grounds for North Tahoe’s elite skiers and riders. Whether practicing jibbing for a rail jam or boosting in the superpipe, Boreal’s location, operating hours and high-caliber parks make it the ideal spot for progressing skiing and snowboarding. Now Boreal is taking performance training a step above by adding a BagJump to the terrain park. The enormous 50” x 50’ inflatable is considered the most state of the art, action sports training device in the world.

Progression is key for skiers/riders looking to push their skills to the next level. The Boreal BagJump is the prefect training tool for learning a new trick by taking off from real snow but landing on a “cloud”; allowing skiers/riders to progress with a lower consequence. Once the trick is learned on the BagJump it can be taken to the snow for perfecting.

Located alongside the superpipe at Boreal, the BagJump will be open to the public Wednesday – Saturday, from 11am – 3pm beginning on Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Ski/Snowboard teams will also be to book private sessions on Mondays and Tuesdays. Season-long Air Passes will be available for only $199, or you can purchase a 10-Jump Air Card for $50. Season pass or lift ticket also required. More information about the BagJump can be found at http://www.rideboreal.com/bagjump.

Boreal is open 7 days/week from 9am – 9pm, with 3 terrain parks available including a mini-pipe, superpipe, boardercross course and more.
