Newschoolers' Review:

The switchblade is awesome both in and out of the park. I rode this ski for half of the 2013-14 season and I enjoyed it. Being a rail guy I found the moderate flex gave me a lot of creativity with butters and playing around. Even with the flex I was able to hit 40-50 foot jumps with fine landings. The Switchblade was also great for carving around outside of the park, ripping down groomers. I mounted this with the 4frnt deadbolt bindings. The 4frnt team is super easy to talk and communicate with and are super friendly.

The main factor to consider when buying these skis is the durability. If you ski a lot of rails and are doing a variety of big tricks on rails, you could find your edges wearing down very quickly. I rode my switchblades hard but they were not ride-able after half of a season. If you cruise jumps, groomers and are not throwing big tricks on rails, I would recommend these skis. If you are a rail guy, I would suggest searching for more durability. - SDrvper
