Stupidest thing you have ever done while skiing

probably a repost...

either way mine would probably be hitting a corrugated pipe with new undulled skis (first rail on my new skis), that hurt like hell.

Early season my mountain was making snow. It got really sticky unexpectedly while i was skiing switch and went put first right into a snow gun.

i remember this other one, when the snow guns was going off my freind gave me 5 buck to put my face in front of the snow blowers... that hurt like non other.

I was skiing pow then I thought I was hitting a pillow but it was a 20+ft drop into a creek. Luckily I hit the other side of the creek and my skis popped off the. I fell back I to the creek which at that point was about 15-20 ft

Tried zero-spinning a 60 footer. I had never gone switch off anything over 10. Broke my arm, collarbone, blew out my knee and also fractured my ankle

Jokingly tried to dub Off a cannon rail knowing I wouldn't come close but it was gapper day and I was in a one peace and the snow is so soft ended up braking my shoulder ac level 5

today I was skiing loon and was speeding down to ther par, and one side of the trail is complete grass and I had been going over it all day. But this time I decided to go over the rollover bump in the grass and I just completely ate shit and tumbled for a while. It was awesome.

Trying to turn around backwards amd catching an edge it hurt so much...also I tried to backflip a tiny side jump and caught my tips at the end very very vrry painful

tried to jump a little wall ride then once i got up the jump part realised i was leaning forward and the wallride had a terrible tranny and it was basically like riding into a wall my tips just stuck there and i flipped over the wallride

fell on to my knee on a box and could barley move it. then i tried a 3 off a jump and destroyed it even more and now its been months and i still cant put any pressure on it because i keep smashing it haha

I was expressing my inner tool and skiing with large open jacket. The zipper at the bottom proceeded to get stuck in between the chair and arm rest. I tried to escape but in the process I got my suspenders and passchord stuck as well.

The chair went around and dragged me behind. It slowly came to a haul leaving me hanging off the end of the ramp with my pants around my ankles and my jacket looking like bat wings.

Then my mountain started using those signs that say "Check for loose clothing and equipment"

there was a roller with a "no jumping" sign. i was hauling and did a super sick hand drag 1 over it, landed switch, and drilled some snowboarder just sitting on the backside of the roller

did it today. i was sitting in my gloves on the lift, forgot about em(it was 50 degrees out, so i forgot i brought gloves) stoff up to get off, remember about em halfway down the run. fml.

on the bright side they were a size too big and smelled worse than my ski socks. replacing was in order.

Far too many to count. Nailing a kid and the subsequent double e while bombing into waterfall at stevens pass. calling last run on my new, undulled skis, then catching an edge and double ejecting (again) as I widened my legs to spin, smacking right on the lip of a jump right underneath the chair. I was sure I was gonna blackout I smacked so hard. All times when I've nutted myself. All times when I've tried to spin onto or on corrugated tubes. All times where my head went above my feet. All of the many times I've ended up bleeding profusely after skiing.

Had an almost identical outfit to my friend, who came close to hitting some guys kid(ALMOST, didn't actually hit him). Then the guy and his buddies followed us, thought I was my friend and started to swing at me. Moral of the story, don't match your friends...

and... just this season my hill had this feature, up stairs to flat dancefloor box to stair gap, tried a truckdriver off and landed way to forward and way too flat. shit wasn't cash

Pussied out mid air on my first down flat down attempt, got 32 stitches in my knee. "Ice flow" apparently means ice rink at Breck. Learned that today. Tried skiing the concrete bridge between two parts of a cat track at Breck...ate shit. Also learned that concrete is sticky today. 1st season on skis knowledge.

mine: First day ever on skis i tried to frontflip (and i was using blades) and got the worst shinbang ever. I couldnt walk for a week.

My friend: This is the dumbest thing i have ever seen. This gap is nucking futs and nearly impossible, because even if he would have went faster he probably would have overshot. This is probably the 2nd gnarliest gap at keystone, a good 50 feet at least. If you rode keystone this year you will understand

180'd off a little lip near the bottom of a run and hit a chairlift pole at full speed switch.

Thank god for the padding they put around those. Didn't even hurt too bad, thought I was about to die when I looked around and just saw this huge green pole 3 feet away from me.

I was going down the hill for a lesson on a school ski trip. my pal was smacking me on the head with his ski pole. I brought my pole over and smacked him in the face. I brought it back and it stuck in the ground and hit me square in the chest. I couldn't breathe and blacked out. Laid at the bottom of the run for 20 minutes until someone noticed me and called ski patrol. The group I was skiing with just decided to ski off. I went to the hospital to find out I have cracked ribs.

I blame long poles.

Fanggin it down the hill at MACH10 and the groomer narrows. Some lady is going left so i go right, but she decides fuck it and heads right too. I lay down and slide right underneth her double ejecting her and backflippin her. Realise im wearing my staff jacket so i check 2 see if any one saw and boost it out of there before she get up and figures out wtf just happened. I would have been fired for sure if i got caught.

while doing a rail jam the beginning of the season I tried a 630 out and caught my ski on the end of the canon which turned into a half lincon off.....in front of the whole ski team and the judges tent..
