Character Customization

So, not only can you pick the general look of your character based on your first perk selection, you will also be able to buy shit to alter his appearance. One of the things I can confirm is the Face Paint option. There are 21 different choices that can be purchased, with the top thirteen being $500. They are the following:

Highlander
Sidewinder
Martis
Millitia
Apache
Sandman
Zulu
Blitz
Commando
Tundra
Banshee

Offline MP with AI confirmed


Game Modes

Normal

  • Team Deathmatch (12 players)
  • Merc Team Deathmatch (No parties)
  • Free for All (8 players, no really large maps)
  • Domination (12 players)
  • Ground War (18 players, TDM and DOM, no super small maps)
  • Search & Destroy
  • Capture the Flag (12 players)
  • Headquarters (12 players)

Hardcore

The ANTE UP (Free-for-all based, 6 players, low buy-in, parties allowed) category includes:

  • One in the Chamber
  • Sticks and Stones - tomahawk, knife, and crossbow only
  • Gun Game - You unlock a better gun with each kill...and lose a "level" with death instead of starting from the beginning
  • Sharpshooter

Wager Match-- gamble your COD points for a bigger pay day. Top 3 get the cash.

Contracts - They look to be the replacement for challenges now. Contracts help you earn more CoD money throughout the game, but they do expire within a certain time-frame and in order to complete them in the future, it looks like you will have to buy them back.

Apparently it's the beta..

In the video, the scoping is as fast as it was in COD4.

Well it looks like I've been told.

That game just looks 100x different than the last four they came out with, it's great they switched it up this time and added bots.

Just out of curiosity, what really sets this game apart from the other ones that it needs a hype thread / makes people really care about it?

For me personally it's gonna be the fact that it is going to be the first game that takes place i the Cold War/Vietnam that doesn't suck balls (Men of Valor), is RIDICULOUSLY hard (Conflict Vietnam), or takes a huge right turn at Albuquerque by having zombies and dragons show up in it (Shellshock).

just from a multiplayer standpoint:
- new perks are a lot more balanced, everything has a counter now. no refilling noob tubes, no danger close, no more stopping power or juggernaut.
- Longer kill times with weapons and more recoil, they generally are more skillful than the last few CODs.
- Kill streaks don't count towards other kill streaks, so you need 11 gun kills to get an 11 kill streak.
- Theater mode so now you can watch game play and save/upload it to the internet.
- Split screen online is a new huge feature, two people can play online at any time.
- New game modes where you bet credits like the gun game and one in the chamber, looks like they should be a lot of fun.
- lots of customization like character model, emblem editor, way more gun customization (red dot color/dot style, custom trademarks, 15 different camos, clan tag)

Campaign is always epic and zombies mode should be just as good as the last one if not better.

i really reall yhope people are not going to release the mod to everyone so the game stay clean,the guy who uplaud the mod tell me that this glitch/mod will not be release to anyone, it was just to prove to black ops that their game is not impossible to mod
